how do you carry pets in an RX-8?

lmfao, those last 2 posts are hilarious. i have a 90lb. rottie lab mix. he LOVES car rides to the dog park. he hasn't been in my 8 yet and may never be.... sorry roofus.

That last cat I carried there ended up dead a few states away....

My 75lb black lab liked riding in the back - he'd switch curling up in one side and then the other, and rested his head on the console between the seats. I keep my back seats covered with blankets, but I added huge beach towels on top of them when he was in the car. RIP Emmett

I would use another vehicle. Your pup will definitely outgrow your car. I also agree that you should consider the safety of your pet carefully. We all love our pets but I wouldn't put them in my RX8. The 8 would be fine for smaller pets but not for anything large, it's too dangerous for you and them. Good luck with the new pup, congrats.
