AZ Hot Climate premix in car storage

I've just ordered a case of Idemitsu premix, but in the meantime I'm using MMO. Living in Phoenix, it's up around 115 degrees now, and last fill up I noticed that the MMO bottle was all expanded from heat - it hadn't split open yet but I wouldn't be surprised if it had. Anyone have advice on storage containers for premix that do well in Hades?

Could you keep it in a dark cabinet or inside?

Have you considered Mazmart water pump and putting Redline Water Wetter in your car? I don't need the water pump since it's not that hot here in SF area and don't track. I did put Water Wetter in the coolant though.

Well I dont quite get that hot here but high 90's and mine is ok.....do you keep it inthe storage compartment between the backseats(that's where I keep mine)

If you do I would just say don't fill it the whole way up so if it does expand it won't overflow but I believe it's more air expanding on the oil itself....

Watch out for the Wetter. There's a thread about problems it has caused with corrosion.

Read the thread. Nobody really determined what it was. To say it's corrosion is just to spread unfounded rumours. Some people have issues, some people don't.

I went to walmart and found a small water bottle that is made out of the same plastic as the big 5 gallon water jugs.

I don't want to keep it in the back storage compartment because I have the Nav DVD drive there, but maybe in the back seat cup holders compartment. I've looked at the MazMart water pump, but I think I'll wait for financial reasons. I've unbent the fins on one of my oil coolers, and I'll do the other one when I have time. I did put a 1/2 bottle of wetter in the coolant. I'll look for some of the containers that invasion08 recommends. I drive 500 miles a week, so I really need to keep the stuff in my car at all times, especially with how often the 8 needs refills.
