VA hit a peice of tire on highway

Damn..... luckly the black marks rubbed off the bumper. The wheel well thing on the passenger side is messed up. A lot of the plastic holdings ar gone and one of the bolts on the botton ripped through. Think the bumper took some damage as it doesn't seem flush t othe rest of the car around the side marker.

Luckly the tires suvived (so far) and I hope there is nothing else wrong under the car.

F-ing trucks.

Happened to me not long after I got my 8.

Only damaged the black pieces under my front bumper and engine. "Engine Splash Guard" I believe they called it.
About $297 for 3 pieces of black plastic, some screws and 30 minutes of work.

We call those hunks of rubber "gators". If you are lowered they can cause some serious damage. Cheap *** retreads...

I dont think the engine splash guard is damage. In my attempt to avoid it, it only went under the passenger side not right under the middle. I hope.. they just need to replace the little plastic do-dads that hold the peice on. They better not have to do anything with the bumper or that will suck....

I'm am hoping the extent of the damage is the cost to replace those fittings.... I dont want to spend much to have this repaired as you can see.
