Help! Stuck autodimmed RVM!

OK, I got in the car today and the mirror was stuck on dimmed. I turned it off, and it went back to normal...I turned it on, and it dimmed.

after dinner, same thing. No one behind me, mirror is dimmed.

Any suggestions? Anyone seen this on their car?

You might try unpluging the power supply for a while and reconnecting .... resetting the electronics.
another possibility is that the sensor between the home 3rd home link button and the on/off buttons is dirty or damaged. check your manual but I believe cleaning fluids can damage the sensor. could be the problem? cleaning with a damp cotton swab might do the trick.
