Help! Is something wrong?

I took a picture to show you guys...




I averaged 23.4 mpg....whats up with that?

Definitely engine problem, i think you need a new engine.

He may have accidentally got a piston stuck in there.

after the second part of the recall my car has done the same thing...were you driving mostly highway miles? or city miles? because i was driving on the highway for the majority of the time...i'm getting a little freaked out now ...fyi there has been no difference in performance

ya...i drove on the highway...cruise set at 80 though....about 80-100 miles....

Maybe if you stop driving at 36 mph would lower your mpg?

LOL, for a second I thought you were referring to the "oil pressure guage". I thought to myself, "oh no, not another one..."

HaHa! Nice work! You need to start doing some track days to bring your gas mileage back in line with the rest of the group.

I got just over 24-24.5 MPG going highway at 70MPH recently.

maybe its time to get another car.

Mazda probably *mistakenly* put a piston into your 8 !

Go ask them for an engine replacement. or lemon your car :P

I've done 300 miles (hyw) on a tank.
Today I got <10MPG on the track.

My highest ever was 335 of regular city \ highway driving and I filled up 14.7 gallons.

My lowest was 205 and I filled up about 13.0 gallons.

i have done 350 miles on a tank... i just did not shoot a photo of it..

70k miles.. high mpg 24. low 18.

no track days..
