Help me please, deciding on used RX-8

Hey guys first post please be gentle.

Looking at buying a 2004, RX-8. Its the sport edition, silver with the 4 speed automatic engine. 1 Owner - Female, and only has 30,000 miles on it. Got her down to 14,500 for the car. Power windows, locks, alarm, excellent body condition - garage kept.

Wanting to know, is this a good buy? Anything I should look out for, and which engine is this? I looked at it, and when I run it on carfax it says it is an "1.3L R PFI." Not sure exactly what it is. It is so much fun to drive and I love the way it looks. Let me know what you all think.

Yeah get the manual and you can probably get a better price. You can probably find a grand touring for 14 or so.

Do you know what a rotary engine is?

Sprichst du Deutsch?

Keep in mind that if the car has been "babied", it will probably have trouble down the road. Rotaries need to be revved, and automatics driven conservatively tend to accumulate carbon which can result in engine failure.
