Help!! Mazda buyback program letter

Can anyone in this forum help me with this matter. I never received the letter from Mazda authorizing the free maintenance on my Rx-8 bought early August. Can you supply me with a copy of the letter that any of you received for the free maintenance. Please blur your vin number and all information relevant to your info but I need the actual wording. It has been 9 months of going back and forth with Mazda and they do not want to do it now , but I got the dealer to write a letter that they will perform all this maintenance, but they want to know the exact wording that Mazda used on their official letter. You can post or PM me.

Help on this will be greatly appreciated.

I hate to say "do a search", but... scans of the letter were posted on the forum back in late August or early September, when they were first received. you should be able to find them by browsing threads from that date range, if a search doesn't turn them up.

Gordon

The dealer is being a *****. They do not need the letter EVER. Technically they can request a special card that you should have received, but most don't. All they need to do is look up your VIN and compare it with the VIN range that is applicable. If so, you are covered. If not, you aren't. It's that simple.

Are they trying to tell you that they haven't heard of this, or that they've never dealt with it specifically? The former is blatantly untrue, since they had to change their signs and paperwork from advertising he higher HP to the lower number. The latter is possibly true, but still does not matter.

For reference, check this out:

You should be able to tell them about that "campaign" and warranty information, even though you don't have your letter.

Hey DisneyDestroyer, Thanks. hopefully this will help. My ordeal is a long one. It started with a car that was supposed to be a showroom car and the dealer did not reported sold until December and I bought it in early August. Of course, Mazda NA says that it is out of the program scope and that is how the whole thing started...... It seems like "fraud" to me but I am trying to solve this the nice way.
Again Thanks.

Hmmm, in that case you may need to show your proof of purchase (a copy, never give up the originals) to Mazda. I assume you did get paperwork when you bought it (in early August) with the date on it? It's the dealership's fault, and you need to press them HARD to correct the paperwork with mazda, especially since their error will cost YOU hundreds of dollars.
