Help -- Lug/Wheel Nuts

Hey guys,

over the winter I seem to have lost/misplaced my lug nuts for my OEM summer wheels and tires.

Anyone know where to get them and how much they will run me?

Thanks!

Any tire dealer has lug nuts, you can probably get them almost anywhere that deals with cars. I cannot imagine paying more than $15...

$150 bucks for OEM lug nuts from the dealer - I just bought a set because my wheel lock key has gone awol. Yes, I know you can get a set for much cheaper from an autoparts store, bu my experience hasn't been good with them on other cars so I figures I'd just pay for the ones that came with the car.

ask members in your area. There are only three lock sets.

See? Kersh gets it.

BTW, the $150 is installed (I had the car in for service anyway), so they're probably cheaper ordered through the parts dept. I'll have to see what part of that $150 is labor. At least I'll have a spare set of lugs as backup for track days. Or I can always try to hock them here or on Ebay.

btw, $150 for oe lug nuts is rape.

i lost my locking lug key, and rosenthal only charged me $20 to remove the locks and add 4 more lugs. i think the oem lugs retail for $4/each. either way, they barely didnt charge me labor, or they gave me a discount on the lugs. or both.

please tell me you didnt go to rosenthal for $150 lug nuts.

I went to Rosenthal as well (Arlington) and I could have done that, but I wanted the lock for some strange reason, and you have to buy a whole set to get a new locking lug. I know that it was highway robbery, but what are you gonna do?

The locking nuts are extremely annoying if you change your wheels often (IE: Autocrossers, Track Days, etc).

I took mine off and put a set of normal lugs all around. 21mm OEMs FTW.
