hello guys

Hello guys
Im reallie reallie considering getting RX8 over Subaru STI
it's just too irresistable =Þ
i need some couple of advices guys
04? or 05?

oh and where can i get the clear corners and one of those nice RX8club.com sticker =]

The only differences between the 2004 and 2005 is the key and the color pearl white which replaced lightning yellow.

If you're not interested in pearl white, i highly suggest getting a late build model 04' and saving a bundle.

As for your other two questions.. you might want to take a moment and tinker with the "search" feature :D

um lol... STi or 8.... thats what i'm thinking of too... STi has the power as the 8 has the handleing.... tuff schoise....

thanks for helpin me out
i've been thinkin how can i trust the dealer with late built 04?
should i just ask for it? what if they say this is late built of 04 and it really isn't?

Vin and RX8 birthdate

This is from my "RX8" list. I read somewhere on the board that the last 5 digits of the Vin are sequential and relate to the build date. I do not know what the number is for the first 05 RX8 but these are all 04's. Someone here I am sure will confirm this.

All the '05 cars here are SN 41xxx & 42xxx. They should be able to give you the build date off the door tag on an '04. '05s also have upgraded firmware on the stereo unit so they're satellite compatible (have a SAT button on the radio controls in place of AM).
