hellllpp!!! big mistake tinting lights
hi, i purchased headlight tint film, followed the videos on how to install it... i did such a bad job that its kinda embarrassing... i have airbubbles everywhere!!! the only thing i did not use was the special liquid solution which i had no luck in finding out what it actually is.. the videos say it helps to do it with the spray.. anyway heres a pic of what it looks like.. any help???
that is horrible! i'm sorry you didn't know that a few drops of dish soap and water in a spray bottle helps you to put the laminate on. you also need a wiper blade, i don't know what to call it. it's this small plastic kinda blade thing. you should prolly get the goo gone and rip it off. its gonna suck. try and call the company you got it from and see what they say about it.

Why the hell would you tint the headlights anyway? they are what help you see at night.
^very true. if the tint has set in, be prepared for a long process to get it off. Well, the tint will peel right off. Its the glue that will be hard. There is a pretty easy way that works on large windows. not sure if it would work on that though.
If the film is anything like clear bra material (3M film), it should come off just by peeling it away. Heat from sitting in the sun or a hair dryer should also help. An alcohol/water solution may also be needed to unbond the glue while helping "slip" the film off.
And don't feel too bad, I tried putting a clear bra on my MX-5 (following every step with ALL the right tools), and I still couldn't get it to come out right. It wasn't as bad as yours, but still not right. It takes a lot of skill to get it perfect.
Yea, i've done it before. it's easy, just heat up and peel. it's small enough that peeling can be done in one straight motion. very little residue if any.
haha thanks all of you, i was able to pull it right off since i only did it about an hour b4 i posted this, the soap water worked just fine and it looks alot better, wish i hadnt shrunk it so much with the blowdryer but was just enough to look decent.. thanks again
the liquid stuff is to spray on so you can slide it around and it wont stick... the squeegee is to squeeze the water out and smooth out any air bubbles.
no biggie... you can buy the same tint from a hardware store and do about 50 sets of lights for 20 bucks.
