Just picked up an 04 RX8 GT. Great car, very quick and everyone seems to look at it. Couple questions.

When I was on my way to work this morning I needed to use the heater to get some fog off the front window. Problem is I didn't have any. It blows cold. Anyone else have this problem? Fix?

Also I noticed the ambient temperature display was off. When I was driving it went up way higher then the temp is outside? Is the outside temp related to the climate control? Anyone else experience this? Fix?

umm, are you sure the **** the on console was set to hot? Never had a problem with the heater in this car

 

Yes, the **** was on hot. Forsure.

 

dayum, thats weird. I would give it another shot. I don't think anyone else has ever had problems with the heater, works damn well

 

I tried it on the way to work and home. Same thing. Cold air from the floor ducts.

Does anyone know where the probe is for the outside temp? I read an old thread about it and looked for mine. It wasnt at the front drivers side near the rad? Where else should I look?

Took it to the dealer today. Had a big list. Should get it back Wed or Thurs.
