i still dont get it..

if r magic is rice and the performance is in other companies, how did they set a 57.x sec lap time at tsukuba at battle evome in 2010, and in 2013 the fastest fd was 56.x. I think the blue RE-A rx7 set a 57 sec lap time in 2013, the Garage Kagotani rx7 set a 58 i think.

I think what you meant to say is that you think their products look ricey. I dont know where you got the information that Rmagic is rice. I personally believe that some of their kits are "out there" but nowhere near abflug, and the quality is still very good.

Weapon R uses cheap materials, dont test, and put out random products that most of the time suck.. i dont know if weapon r even has a race car.

(the fastest car was a S15 with a time of 52.x, but it had a splitter longer than my dining room table and the biggest park bench ive ever seen (and i like the look of GT wings, so thats saying something) and nearly all the body panels are dry CF and the car is pushing i think 800 or 900 hp)

R-Magic built a 4-rotor RX-8, as well as some of the fastest rotary powered track monsters in the world, they are no joke.

they also more recently made a NA 13B renny for tsukuba lapping which is doing VERY VERY VERY well for being nearly stock on a NA renny..

not very far off from rx7's

I have no idea what you are talking about....

Why are folks not more keen on the racing beat header? Seems like a good option to the RE for a lot less

define "good option" in a way other than "good way to waste 500 bucks"

even if they are everything a fanboi could ever hope for that doesn't mean everything they touch is like a goose laying a golden egg. So they built a monstrosity of a header? Just because you think it looks cool or whatever is going through your head that doesn't mean squat wrt how it functions.

I say go for it. Most people on here have never had one installed or expeirenced what a quality header is like for these cars... it's all heresay otherwise and the majority would say no to this. Yes the install can be a pain in the *** (which is actually why most don't bother trying it), but for me it was well worth the $500. Get it properly tuned and I think most would be surprised of the results

Granted, it won't be nearly as benneficial if you still plan on running a cat with it though...

ill admit it.

That header looks like a fancy mess, i just threw it in here for fun.

Though, my argument was more along the lines that Rmagic was not equatable to weapon R.

I don't know why other people are hatin' on people having headers? If they want to put headers, then its their choice, not ours. If its a waste of money, then why companies who makes headers are still making it...they should be out of business by now.

is your literacy and logic so impaired that you don't think before spewing out senseless comments? You do realize that the user created this thread asking for advice right? And what you consider people "hatin'" is people responding to the original posts curiosity of a header install on this car.

If its a waste of money, then why companies who makes headers are still making it...they should be out of business by now.
Comments like this really scare me because supposudly you are an adult yet do not understand how the world works. I am frankly baffled. Companies like this exist because of people like you .... people who you would think after 7000+ posts would have an ounce of knowledge on the car and realize why any current commercially available header provides no gains or benefits to the overall performance of the engine.

Unfortunately we have noobs come to this forum and see just plain WRONG posts from members like you ... look at your post count and say "hey, that guy probably knows a thing or two" which couldn't be the furthest from the truth. You are unfortunately one of those people who funds these companies that makes those 'tornado' intake systems and 'magnetic fuel line' cleaners with that type of "how could they still be in business" logic.

I pray for the day that the mods either ban your *** or knock your post count back down to 0 so that unsuspecting individuals do not take the words that come out of your mouth as truth or the slightest form of intelligence.

Do us all a favor and just stop posting in threads ... please.

ugh... to assume that a product is valid or good just because a particular company is in business at that moment, is a terrible judgement and flawed logic.

Point is, you should always be "buyer beware" and understand why things work or wouldn't work in particlular sitautions to the best of your ability, so you can make informed decisions on your purchases and not just throw it out the window for primitive emotional reasons.
