Post Head Light Restoration Kit

So it was a necessity that I get my headlights cleaned.
I found some free-time this weekend and did it.
So here's my little Review (I Guess)

I used Rain X Headlight Restoration.
It's fairly priced at $15.00

All's Included with a simple, easy step by step guide on the outside of the box.
It takes about 5-10 Minutes.
It was easy and the results i got were good

Also, sometimes cleaning the inside of the lens can help sometimes. So if it seems like all that cleaning is getting you nowhere, try the inside of the lens.

I've used Blue Magic headlight restorer with very good results. I imagine they are all similar.

I've found that it's best to use a light pressure when polishing and a very clean cloth with more pressure for buffing. It doesn't take much to remove the grime and you want to be able to buff out as much of the scratching as possible.

BTW, why is the "before" picture of the wrong headlight?

I picked up this $20 kit from Advance Auto to fix my girlfriend's headlights, which were horridly yellow. It was a silver pouch with pictures an old Ford Winstar on the front, and I got to tell you, it's the best thing I've ever used and the results carry a lifetime warranty. Whole thing took like 20 minutes for both lights too.

^^ You still have very small microscratches, looks alot better though... I forgot which headlight restoration it is but it has a sealant that fills in all the small microscraches after you wet sand it... I think 3000 grit sand paper and wetsanding the headlights you dont get those microscratches...

Yea I know they were bugging me. Considering there was gashes about 1 to 3 mm all over the lens from a razor blade, I think the kit did a dam good job. On my headlights which had normal damage it came out brand new and sparkly.

It was wet sanded and had rubbing compound applied after that.

Did it come in a metallic pouch and have a lifetime warranty? Cause that sounds like what I was talking about earlier. I used it with amazing results on my girl's '00 Mirage.
