He hit my car!!!

I have had my 8 for like 2 months, it was my last day at my current job location and somebody hits my car....
Does anybody know what its going to cost to replace my rear bumper?


p.s. his insurance is paying

I say..... get a quote.... then go aftermarket but thats just me and most likely what everyone else will say to hehe.

The body shop of your choosing will know the cost.

Yes, it'll cost you nothing—just time and inconvenience. A new Mazda rear bumper is $303 + paint and labor.

yeah, ~$300 for the OEM. But why not pay the extra out of pocket and get something nice?

try japanparts.com - rx8 page - for the biggest collection of kits, then see what kind of pricing you can find on the one you like.

^^ good luck doing that......I tried going with an upgrade to replace my rear bumper, and the other party's insurance wouldn't go for it. They threatened to fight the entire claim, although the accident was clearly the other guys fault, even if I paid for it out of pocket......
