I attempted it once. I am 6"1 180 lbs. Broke some clip thingy which allows the center console to slide with ease. Wraped it up immediately. I was pretty mad. My poor 8

its quite easy. I am 6'2" the lady was 5'8" I think... I dunno close to that.

no seriously, We should let Mazda know about this "issue", they should fired everybody at the engineering department, cuz they made the 8 so difficult to do something so natural.
