Have you been able to enjoy your car yet?

I am slowly getting over the new car feeling with my car and actually relaxing when I take it out for a drive but.... I still will not park in a mall, I almost freaked out today because in the local park some little kids rode their uncoordinated bike bodies oh so close to her. I walked in some mud and was worried I would scratch the pedals...and I won't park under a tree because of the local birds that love to drop their dung on to my vehicle. Am I the only one who has these type of worries and will I ever get used to owning such a nice car?

I always park way out in the back of parking lots, even if I have to walk a mile so no one comes close to my baby.

That's why it hurts so bad when you get the first ding, scratch, or rock chip. How did this happen?! Who hurt you?! I must know!! Just call it love and enjoy. :D

I am somewhat over the new car aspect, but I am still amazed at the car each time I drive it. I have a 14 year old motorcycle that is on the road after the winter and its a similar reaction. Its fun to drive both of those vehicles. Now when I drive our van it feels like a bus.

My car has a weak-baseball-impact dent, and I don't know who did it, when it happened, or what caused the dent. I have always parked the car far from other vehicles, except once I had to park it on the street north of Chicago, and the dent was noticed after that. Its hard to see, and my co-worker pointed it out to me after I returned from Chicago. My other cars always had parking lot dents, and given where I must drive and park, I assume there are more dents on the way.

Picked up my new 8 last Tthursday. Stopped at Home Depot to pick up a few things today - couldn't have parked farther away...excellent walk back to her after shopping - the best looking car in the lot by far. I will probably get over it in a few months, but it is a great feeling now. Love my 8.

I have a three seperate skuffs in my driver side door that are close enough that they may have been caused by on rock. having recently waxed my "8", I saw a few divets in the front bumper. The nature of the beast when you drive it. I'll find someone that can make these spots go away eventually...

I still park where I can hog a parking space weather it's at the front of the enc of a row. But as for enjoying my "8". Been doing that since 12/1/3 when I picekd it up!

I park in BF nowhere, and am overly cautious in maintaining it, but drive it like I stole it.

I used to enjoy driving - and I mean "driving, whatever vehicle", but there are just too many cops out there, if you know what my problem is.

I enjoy mine everyday. I just get mad every weekend when I wash her and I see all of the chips (from road rocks). I figure a week of smiles is worth a couple of hours of being mad After I wash her I make shure to take a nice drive to get the smile back on my face.
