Has anyone had a 6mt tansmission rebuilt

I went through mine before doing the AT to MT swap, because I know how the synchros are in these. IT shifts like butter but it is also whinier than most rx8 transmissions. Ive since put in a used one which also shifts great but is also noisy, just not as bad.

Just had my trans broken down the bearings are bad all the gears are ok . The guy advised me that the shifter was bad and says it that it had to much play when being in gear and needs to be replaced. And the dog rings in the transmission are rounded instead of being pointed which can cause the problem when shifting into gear causing it to grind
Will post and update but all I know transmission is last on my list because I gotta make sure my engine build gets paid first.
