Hamy RPM's should I keep it under when breaking in the engine?
Holy smokes!!!! I just picked up my fully loaded silver RX-8 last night and I have NEVER been so impressed or so happy with a vehicle purchase!! I have been looking for a new car for 7 months and bought this car during my first test drive.
So of course all I want to do go crazy in it but I obviously want to break in the engine properly. I have 94 miles on it and have keeps all the shifts under 6,000 rpm.
Is this too much and roughy how many miles before I can ticket hunting?
The dealer was no help as usual.

Sorry to be snide, but...
There's this little book that comes with the car called an Owner's Manual. You'll probably find it in the glove compartment.
It covers issues like this...
