I can't believe Georgia is #31, I'm calling shenanigans. I've never been in a state (including Illinois, New Jersey, New York and Ohio) that had such aggressive speed traps on their interstates. As soon as you cross the border you're practically guaranteed to be hit by laser within the first 2 miles - and then again at the next 4 overpasses. I've never seen so many people pulled over as I have while passing through Georgia.

43) Indiana
What do you expect from a state that makes TONS of cash off racing? (Indy 500, Brickyard, etc.)
I'm surprised North and South Carolina aren't #49 and #50 with all the racing outfits down there.

The NMA also sponsors SpeedTrap.org. It lists speed traps with many comments about how the speed traps operate and the local police.
There are 922 speed traps listed for NJ...969 for OH.

Why are #'s 14-17 even on the list? Those are actually good and sensible laws.

I see that AZ is stuck in the middle at #25. We could teeter there for a bit and fall.
Though I think we have the most traffic cameras of any of the 50 states. Though they are a joke. If you get one in the mail they say to sign it and mail it back. Well signing it is an admission of guilt. How stupid they think we are. So don't sign it. Throw it away. Then they have to physically serve you a summons. Well if they don't find you with in 30 day's they throw it out.
Also if you get a ticket for doing 20 over that's Felony Speeding. You have the right to face your accuser. Can't subpoena a traffic camera now can we. LOL They have to throw that one out too.
What a scam.
