Greddy Exhaust Manifold Cracked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

damnnnn, i am the first one to have this problem, My greddy exhaust manifold craked, there was a little hole in it, about the size of a two water drops. I had to send it back to greddy and those MO'FO' will send it back to me in 4-6 weeks, because they have to analyze it. It barely lasted 8K miles. But i ordered Innovative double barring turbo. So i am just waiting for the manifold to come back so i can dyno it with new turbo, injectors, straight pipe, new spark plugs, and yesssssssssss 19" volk rays Te37 limited edition, i have been waiting 3 months for the to come. Right now my rx-8 is sitting in a upholstery shop cuz i am getting black and blue leather custom seats. Cant wait for all this. I will post pictures and the dyno chart as soon as i get it running. but it will be 4-6 weeks. So all you guys with greddy turbo BE CAREFULLLLLL!!!!!!!!!

So you found a different turbo that will work with the Greddy manifold AND fit in that tight space? Do you have any info/links on this turbo?

This sounds lame since I can't see any reason for Greddy not to send a replacement and analyze the failed one at their leisure.

Yea ! They could run a deposit on his credit card then credit him back if it was defective?

yeah the turbo will fit with the greddy manifold and it is bigger turbo, i sent the blueprint to innovative, actually it was method motorworks who did it. I think the website is www.Innovativeturbo.com, all they do is make customized turbo's. They are the best in making turbo's for ferrari's and lamboirghini's, basically for all the supercars, the turbo cost me $1800. If you need more information contact method motorworks at 559-275-7640 and ask for henant. The turbo will be installed by the end of the october and i will post the dyno chart. The mechanic promised me that it will push 330 whp with around 5 - 7 psi. Its not only the turbo, i also changed injectors, spark plugs, took out the cat, and made it straight pipe, by the way the cat was blocked, the honey coat material in it melted and blocked the airflow. But i will post new pics as soon as i get my brembo brakes, Te 37 volk rays, blue and black leather interior including the seats.

They don't warranty anything, the only chance in hell is to send them the part and let them analyze it for months, then they probably will come up with a reason why not to warrany it.

Read my thread on my failed greddy turbo!

the company that is rebuilding my turbo provides a 24 month warranty for like $100 more. I will get that for sure, no need to relie on greddy!

That honey coating will kill you every time.
