I like the car, but just dont have the confidence in its reliability.
I drive quite a bit for my job, so reiability is a big issue for me,
i just dont have that comfort of reliability

how often do you red line the engine? I suggest once a day. being auto driving at low rpm makes things worse.

With this economy I;m sure anyone with decent credit could get great financing

OP- keep the car until it lets you down again and your forced to go down other avenues

Maybe during the install there were some fluids leaked that heated up and that's what you are smelling I don't know. If there's nothing leaking under the car and the smell continues you might want to get it checked out. Where did you have the work done? I understand your reliability concerns but with that new engine that has to give it some points back in the reliability column but if you want to start a new payment plan that's your call. You have to run these rotary engines hard, if you drive it like grandma then it's going to break down.

I average about 125-150 miles a day driving,
I guess i should redline it a few times a day/week?
I guess the dillema for me is to Drive it hard and watch the gas tank go down as the RPM's go up LOL

I'd say redline once a day, if you can! It feels good, man.

It doesnt hurt it, but high rpms assist in blowing out carbon which is what typically causes engine failure.

if you drive constantly at low rpm, the carbon build up doesnt have a chance to be blown out. as it gets thicker and thicker, your seals will start to leak. also if a big chunk comes off and get stuck between the seals and the housing, it could scratch the finish causing leaks.
