as i've stated in the title.
it seems that they wanted me in ASAP. I actually have an appointment to go in to get a minor part replaced this coming Thursday 7AM, yet the person i spoke to made it seeme as something very important. i felt the urgency in his voice.
anyone have any idea what this inspection might be?

Oh. btw, it's a 05 model w/the sport package. Just got it last monday.

Hm, watch out.

Mine called me today, I had to come "go over some paper work" again... (just bought it yesterday)... so I'm getting ready for the 45 min drive, and then they call me back and say to forget it that they charged me $1,000 to little, and that they were going to eat the loss.

Yet, they didn't tell me that during the first call... they were going to eat even more if I got there and they thought I was going to redo the already signed paperwork.

Buying tip: NEVER re-do signed paperwork that's in YOUR favor.

Something tells me they sold you a car that didn't have the Recall work performed on it.

As I recall reading on the forum, the dealerships are supposed to install the newly redisigned spark plugs prior to delivering the cars on the lot. Maybe that's what the "inspection" is all about. Make sure you insist on them telling you the details on what the "inspection" was for (so that we're not left up in the air here )

I was extremely wary when my dealership called me back because of a "financing mistake". I had read all about dealer games, even after you've bought the car. However, as it turned out, I may be the rare exception to the rule in that they really did make a mistake that turned out in my favor. It was only a 0.09% interest rate difference though, but to qualify for the MAC rebate they needed the change. Works for me, but given the pre-emptive paranoia and worry I might have chosen the .09%!
