Um, the KBB, Edmunds and NADA value of trade-in had an average of 19,800. They dropped the bomb on me and said 15K. That was the end of my new car shopping for the year. I mean, that's REDICULOUS. I was already plannin on rollin over almost 3K in negative equity for the MS3, but $8K?! My freakin gosh....it would have been almost a $38K by the time tax and title was added.

That alone was reason for my fiancee to accept the 8 now. One of the other reasons I was lookin at the MS3 was for the FWD which would likely be better in the winter. Well...let me think now. A set of Blizzaks for $800, or $8K in negatibe rollover equity.

Pretty sure that once I throw on the winter tires, it'll handle as good as any car on the road!

So, after all is said and done...i'm not going anywhere. and with a certain satisfaction I might add!

why do so many people spell ridiculous as rediculous? is this some internet thing like how people say owned as pwned? or are they just stupid?

Well if we're gonna be a grammer toolbox, why don't some people capitalize the first letter of their sentences? is this some internet thing like how people say owned as pwned? or are they just stupid?

Your 4th grade teacher would be proud of you today.

The latter. (Thing is, people used to be embarrassed to be stupid. Now they're proud. Only in America.)

They're just people who don't read enough well spell-checked material (books, newspapers, etc) to know any better.

And just remember -- stupid is as stupid does.

Thats definately rediculous. Problem is, their not concerned with you're perception of them.

BTW - does anyone read "definately" with a really long and obnoxious emphasis on the 'a'? I always go, "Definaaaaaaaaaaaaately," and I say the 'a' part as obnoxiously as I muster. I also tend to translate "rediculously" as something that was formerly diculous, and has come back from retirement to be diculous once more.

there's no "a" in definitely, so no, we don't put emphasis on the a
