Good deal for rx7?

Hey guys,
This is not exactly an rx8 question but my buddy of my mine is interested in purchasing a 1995 rx-7 with 51k miles. The exterior and interior is flawless but the only problem is that it's having a minor turbo leak. The seller is trying to sell it for 16.5k and I'm just wondering if its a good deal or not. Thanks

How is the turbo leaking? I am a current FD owner, if it a boost leak, check the y-pipe coupler. It is on the bottom of the black tube that goes from the intercooler to the turbo( passenger side of the engine bay). Just need a 10mm socket(pretty sure) to remove the tube and the other various clamps. Once you get that bottom coupler, bend it and flex it and look for splits in it. Hopefully that is your problem, if it is you can order a nice one from mazdatrix instead of an oem one.

Good luck

Thanks for the quick reply. I found out there are other leaks such as oil, transmission fluid, and moisture is seeping into the oil gasket.
