Angry give the RX8 a break!!!

OK im sick and tired of hearing all you people complaining about your RX8...it's rediculous now, you bought the car now enjoy it...and if you dont like it get rid of it and buy something else to complain about on that cars forum. I got my RX8 about 3 weeks ago and i've been in heaven ever since....every time i drive the car i say to myself i cant believe this car is mine!!! I couldnt be more happy with my car, and even after hearing all you complain i'd still go out and get this car.
So this is my post telling everyone that the car is GREAT!!! i love it and have nooooooooooooooo complaints...and on that note im gonna go drive my RX8 right now!!!

PEACE:D

Concur!!!! This car is going to get me into trouble. I passed 90 mph on my morning commute today and I've never bothered to do that before.

Here...Here... I second your sentiments 100%. Part of the problem seems to be jerks who do not have, or are not even contemplating getting an RX-8, complaining about things they have little clue about. This forum should be to help each other with "our" problems, and to interact about the 8. Corrective critizism should always be open and welcome--ie.heat,rattles etc...but Bashing from outside sources should be deleted by Moderators. I think they should be much stricter in this matter. hey, just my opinion.

I really believe the old trolls like IkeWRX have been getting friends/acquaintances to come in here and make bogus complaints.

Guys, it's really just a vocal few who keep screaming about it. Leave it alone and ignore the trolls, and they WILL go away.

Maybe the ones with issues could state things a little differently.....on the computer it is hard to tell the tone behind the comment....while others it is blatant. People get way too sensitive and tend to over react to things they may have had a different tone then they thought. Take your rose colored glasses off though and just feel lucky you have no problems to date. Try and be more understanding and let's help one another. I am tired of people saying they are sick of complainers and stuff. I have bad mpg to date but it does not mean I should be bashed for saying so. Although I didn't say the car was "pissing me off" or anything. It's a new car......it will have issues...let's stick to helping those that may have problems and hopefully things will all get better! Cheers and peace!

Dude, its a forum. People always whine in forums. In fact, they whine so much on forums that it makes the average reader think that the car in question is an utter P.O.S.

I watched the same thing happen on Subaru boards when the WRX came out.

The sky is *NOT* falling.

I joined this forum about 3 months ago. I planned all along to purchase an RX8. Ever since I sold my last 1st gen RX7 in 99, I vowed to own another rotary. The RX8 was introduced and I did everything I could to be able to afford one. And now I have one. I've only had it 2 days and 100 miles, but I love everything about it. Haven't even revved past 6000RPM yet. So far it has satisfied my urge for power, and can't wait until it is fully broken in, so I can experience the full power. I hate all the trolls, but I just ignore them. Maybe they'll go away.

If you look at the poll 82 % of owners are highly satisfied with their purchase That is hugh with only 82 votes. That is all that needs to be said on how the car has been received. Will there be issues with a new car or truck you bet. I went through the same bad feed back on the Tundra solution site on brakes. Ten people had a issue and we had 200 posts about it. The brakes were so good they burnt them up. Stop a extended cab pickup in 129 ft from 60 enough and you will smoke them. I feel for people who's cars do not compare to others IE gas mileage. The form can be very useful to determine what is normal and what is not. If it isn't normal see the Dealer and or Mazda and use the form printed out as a tool. I believe if you wanted it you could gather enough support to back you up if you have a real problem. I know Mazda and other Manufactures monitor these sites. Just about everything we complained about was address in one manner or other with the Tundra. At this point if you don't own a RX8 then and aren't trying to find out information about a RX8 go some place else. Not everyone will love a RX8, I do and so does my wife.

I really wanted to 'enjoy it' the 2 weeks it was at the dealer getting things fixed.. Just because you haven't had issues yet doesn't mean people frustrated that they can't drive their toy should not share their experiences..

NAVILES16V, glad to hear you got it. I trust you will keep in touch with the forum. Cheers!

It seems that over the past few days, we happy owners have finally done some banding together by vocalizing our appreciation for this car. More than I can remember. I'm diggin it too. Been long overdue. It seems the hp issue had tempered our joy so quickly, we never got the chance to express our satisfaction as much as we have been just lately. This is a good thing.

I wonder how we might inform our fellow forum members that we have just experienced a problem with our car, without having it come out seeming like a sky-is-falling prophecy of some impending doom that awaits us all. True, it may be good, no, it IS good to let us all know that a bad thing just happened to the car. Is there some other way that this type of info could be posted? Perhaps we're trying to sell the car too much? Perhaps this forum needs to transform itself more into an owners' source of information more than a place of revelry and self gratification? True, nobody likes to hear when LAMBDA-X had a front brake caliper turn cherry red on the way home from work (I just made that up, OK?), but that is the information that does need to be out there for everyone to be aware of. What if tomorrow, that would happen to you? That is what a car forum is all about. Let Mazda worry about how to sell it...

Do I need my flame suit now?

ok some people bought this car for different reasons bro. Some people are disappointed in some of the performance aspects of the rx8. However YOU may be a different case. Maybe YOU bought it cuz you thought it was a good looking car and YOU could take ur family around town. Some people bought it for different reasons. This is a forum not a **** camp, so let people post their opinions.

Actually, in my case, the performance has far exceeded my expectations. I'm also talking about cornering performance out of the box, and how it relates to a fast road course!

Love this car so far, and the JIC's have made it even better!
