Getting tinted tommorw
Hey guys, im getting my 8 tinted tommorw I was thinking of 15% in the rear and 35% up fronts. Don't want to go too dark since im in california, what do you guys think of this set up? I want the tints to blend nicely. Is there anything I should do before I take the car in tommorw? wash the windows inside and out?

check around....the brand of tint can be a big factor, who ever you get to do it, ask for references to previus customers.. I opted to use huper optics#30 , awesome product, great heat rejection. the installer was recommended by other friends, this was put on in 2005 and is still great with no blistering and bubbling. researching is your best friend. be kind, later....

I have 20% on all of mine, and I love it. Its dark enough that it looks good, technically I think its illegal. It is a little dark for backing up in dark areas, etc, but it still works. Any darker I think would be a pain and impractical for me.

I got one ticket for having limo all around, and that was because I was careless and didn't check the freeway off-ramp when I passed by it. Got it written off by a friend, never took it off. One ticket in a year and half? Fine by me.
I'll probably even get limo+20% all around on my next car.

dont mean to thread jack, but do you have pics of that? i was considering 20% untill you said you wouldnt mind going darker :/

A/C while driving and when it's been sitting in the sun for awhile just open the doors and let the hot air come out with a/c running then you're good to go! I guess I never had tint in any cars so i don't know what I'm missin
