nevermind..
hey guys,
not sure if anyone has posted this yet (forgive me if i'm reposting, but i didn't see a thread about this when i skimmed down).
There is a recall for some 04 rx8s:
a friend linked me to this because he knew i was thinking about getting one. Cut & pasted.. the part of the article that mentioned rx8s:
Separately, NHTSA said Mazda Motor Corp. is recalling 27,800 2004 model-year RX8 cars as cracks may occur in the ball joint socket due to improper forging of the lower control arm.
In severe driving conditions, the ball may separate from the socket and a loss of steering may occur, which could result in a crash, NHTSA said.

Bummed, but bring on OU!
Don't worry about it. Not everyone goes straight to the Tech forum. Thanks for posting it. If you do a search on a topic, and resurrect a year+ old thread, you'd get hounded for that too . And welcome to the forum, don't let the bad first impression scare you off.

Ridiculous, what he wasted less then a minute of your precious time reading his post? He even apologized if it was a repost. Forgive them, some good people on here and a few a-holes. Just hope thats their internet personality.
