Any idea how much longer a well maintained RX-8 can last without major issues? I've done a bunch of track days in my car and some autocrosses but have religiously changed the oil every 3-4K miles and also keep most of the maintenance up. It now has 75K and I'm putting 25000 mostly highway miles per year on the car with my work commute.
The car is not being tracked/autocross anymore.

Maintenance is key. You say "keep most of the maintenance up" which should be ALL of it. Under perfect conditions, there is no reason why an RX8 cant hit 150k-200k miles without major issues.

Dont know what ur limits on money are, but I see some guys getting brand new 0 mile left overs for like 22k out the door....I bought a motorcycle once and got like 3k off the price because it was the previous model, like a year later it was worth what I originally paid. So my bet would be that if you went out and got a good deal on a brand new rx8 you're gonna lose the least amount of money.
