Fun at school
My kids, both in H.S. wanted me to bring the new ride by after school. Should have seen the swarm of teenage boys going insane over the car. My son felt like a king(I could tell). We live in a small community and its the first 8 around our area so it was pretty cool.

I took my son through a fast food drive through window after his soccer game.

Me: Yup!

I had two guys in a pickup pull up next to me in heavy traffic, with the passenger hanging out his window. He was busy taking a picture of my car with his Camera Phone.

Got my 8 in December and at that point in time, I could drive for a week and not cross paths with another one. I probably see two to four a day now if I drive over 60 miles; so "looks" are fewer than they used to be. But I do remember the first time I had the hood up, checking the oil at the gas station and this guy and his son walked over and said 'what kinda car is that?' They were pretty much awestruck. I also was mired in traffic not too long ago and this kid (20ish probably) undid his seatbelt (he was on the passenger side) and literally leaned about 1/3 of his body out the window to stare at my car. Not a bad feeling....

I was filling up at a gas station yesterday, and this guy driving some kind of construction company van came up to me and asked me if I used to own an RX-7. I told him no, but I always wanted one. He said he asked, because everyone he talks to with an 8 used to own a 7 (including him).

I was driving home from work with my windows down. This construction van pulls up beside me and this really red neckish country guy looks over at me and says "That thing got a HEMI?"
I cracked up for a long time....
