Frost on the Rotor (I mean, Pumpkin)
Jumped in my 8 and traveled 365 miles to the Sierra foothills for Thanksgiving holidays. We returned this morning, but not before I fired up my 8 and let it thaw out for about 20 minutes. The windshield was frozen, along with other body parts. I turned the heater up to max, along with the defrosters and let it thaw out on its own; no ice scrappers, etc.
Due to the low temps, the remote tire pressure gizmo announced it's presence, but after about 5 miles the tires warmed up and the warning light went out.
Trip: 730 total miles( plus 50 miles of demo rides). Averaged 21 MPG with cruising speeds of 80 to 85 punctuated by quite a bit of stop and go (heavy holiday congestion). I enjoyed being in the left lane. What a wonderful road car!
Oh yeah, my funky yellow plastic dipstick funnel adapter DID NOT melt or collect dirt! So, all of you detractors can go pound sand. LOL! :D
