Warning!..message is only for bored users... if you're looking for something interesting... look somewhere else..

Nothing much... just wondering how often you guys take your 8 out for a spin up the mountains...and if so.. how does it handle?

I've taken it for a few spins in the hills, but more on Sunset Boulevard and PCH. Handles like a scared wolf (meaning, awesome). If you're down in O.C., then I'm sure you can find some twisties around in the local hills. Just be careful if the road is damp.

It handles like being on a railroad, it just hugs the roads. Those performance tires coupled with excellent balance brings the car to a driving experience often repeated. Course here in CO its a wimp cause it can't handle the snow with those kind of tires on it and so it sits in the garage waiting for better dry days.

i do live in the o.c. but unfortunately, i still have to wait for my 8. the mountains in L.A. are pretty nice to climb, esp. Azusa and the other side of it.. i forgot what it's called.. but i bet an 8 would do the roads there justice..

I have taken it up the mountainside a few times last summer. Obviously, the car handles exceptionally well, even in the wet stuff with the DSC on and Potenza's protecting me. I had no problems and felt extremely comfortable all the way up.

I'll have to do it again some time.
