this is for all of you lucky people that have seen an 8 in person...

from the various pictures i've seen, i can see how for the rear seats there's sort of a flip cover for the cup holders, and a lid hinged at the rear covering a small storage compartment just behind it.

however, i still haven't seen a clear picture of how the console for the front seats work. i've seen a picture showing two cupholders and a storage compartment for the front seats as well, and another picture with the lid for the front console closed. i guess my two questions are:

1. for the front seats, are the cupholders and storage compartment both covered by the same lid?

2. where is the lid hinged for the front?

The lid for the front console slides back. I can't remember all the details but it did expose the cup holders and storage as well I think
