Where do I get the stock fog light bulbs? I dropped one and it exploded like a firecracker. I have been looking on the web but cannot find the part anywhere.

this is what is on the bulb:

Phillips H11 LL
Germany A421
12V 55W 12362 LL

 

any H11 bulb will work. I bought some yellow bulbs from autolumination.com. The product is cheap and you get what you pay for. If you go for the white look and have money to spend go for Piaas.

 

On the subject of fog lights, I find them to be anemic and no help in fog. I think they are just look-at-me-I'm-cool cruise lights. :o

 

haha...they work ok for me...maybe yours are positioned incorrectly

and yes don't buy the OEM replacments on the bulbs, get one at your local autoparts store or ask one of the vendors

you can get a much nicer bulb :D

The foglights don't go very well with my HID.

Any bulb suggestions to make them look more like HID's?

Not a whole lot of fog here in Cali...

 

Check this site out, supposibly the match the HID's very nicely. Probably will buy from this place once I have a bulb go out.
