If your car is still under warranty and it won't start, have it towed to the dealer and have them fix it. It doesn't matter whether the car is really flooded or not, they are obligated to fix it unless the problem is an item not covered by the warranty (like the battery). Even if it is flooded, they are obligated to fix it during the warranty period.

If your RX-8 is a June '04 build, it doesn't have all the updates, so make sure that the dealer does the full "Engine cranks no start" service bulletin.

All this should be covered under warranty. If the dealer tries to get out of the coverage simply call the Mazda 800 number and complain.
