Flat Black

Has anybody ever done a "flat black" paint job to there rx8. Fully blacked out like on rob and big? If so pictures? iv been looking but have yet to see one.

No, never seen a matte black one here, but there WAS a guy from New Zealand who did one in full airplane cammo......

Gloss black is hard enough to keep clean, I don't even want to think about keeping flat black spotless.

the no. 70 is designed after the Mazdaspeed kit but is actually a full dry laid carbon fibre race body produced by Downing Atlanta

THe Speedsource MS8 has a Mazdaspeed style "body kit". Not exactly a kit...

Is that the Speedsource rx8 demo car? It looks exactly like the one on display at the NY Auto Show. It didn't have calipers either. Doubt that thing even runs.

Please note, the reason this looks so sick is because it has all those decorative decals......

If you attempt this without any form of decal, it will look like ***!

My firm belief is it was done this way to accent the ads...

Ive never been a fan of the flat black look, I made fun of the suburban on rob and big when I saw it, lol. Thats just me. I think the RX8 looks sexiest in BB, or VR.
