I would go with the MS intake. People on here keep complaining that Intake and Exhaust do nothing, yet there are dynos that people post with these mods putting down 10-20 more HP than a stock vehicle averages. Thats 10-20HP to the wheels folks! Let's not forget that. That's .1 to .2 tenths and a couple car lengths in the quarter, or maybe even more on your favorite track. And races are won by seconds not minutes.....well usually. lol

Lets do it. I'll start....
Here is a car with 200hp. As you can see by the mod list, he has no cat and underdrive pulleys.
Lets compare that to a car WITH a cat and NO pulleys. (just intake / exhaust mods)
Where do you see a 10 - 20 horsepower difference??
Note that my dynos were done on the SAME DAY on the SAME dyno, by the SAME tech.
I await proof of YOUR claims...

I reccommed an exhaust to start makes a good tone....midpipe will make it louder(prob what i'm doin next my exhaust is a little too quiet at idle) Intakes i personally would do the DIY on the stock intake box because it is free.....SC or Turbo is always nice but i would get used to the car before you do something drastic like that

AFE shifter, and TIRES
BUY GOOD TIRES.
Why does nobody ever mention tires? People will winge on and on about the merits of strut bars and coilovers; then they go buy cheap ***-tires and wonder why their thousands of dollars of suspension mods aren't making their car handle better.
Your tires are the only part of the car that touch the road. Don't be a cheapskate when it comes to them. Going from the stock 225/45/18 potenza's to Falken RT-615's in a 145/40/18 made a huge difference in how confident I was in the car's ability to handle. It sticks to the road like glue now.

In case you want to argue that the 197 hp car was a fluke, I present to you even more dyno sheets.
Here's a 196 hp car with no pulleys and no midpipe This was also done on the same day as the other 2 cars.

194 HP with no pulleys or midpipe. Again, this is only 6 hp away from a car with BOTH midpipe AND pulleys. As you can see, those two mods do not add 10-20 hp. (as you claimed earlier)

I rest my case.
Moving back to the original topic, Socket brings up an excellent point. If you've had your car for a while and the tires are getting worn out, GOOD TIRES are one of the best things you can buy.
Are there "flashier" mods out there? Yes.
Are there appearance mods that would stand out more? YES
BUT, at the end of the day this is a car that was designed around handling / performance. If you deviate from that by slapping on another set of cheap Bridgestones (or worse) you are throwing away your money and hurting your car.
