so i finished paying off my rx8 this month and i got the title in the mail it says under make . mazd under the make and under body style it says 2 door i know its the dealers dumb self he did not have any clue about what the car was should i get this changed?

 

Ask your insurance co.

 

Check with insurance, should be classified as a 4 door. I think they would use the VIN number more than the title description anyway. But........4 door would be a cheaper rate, so check as OR says.

On the other item, I would think as long as the VIN number is correct, then there is no real need to get the title changed.

 

alright i was just wondering i have insurance that says 4 dr . but i was just wondering if it made a difference on the title...

thats weird mine says 4 dr :s but i wouldnt bother with it as long as the vin matches

Body = 2dr WTF??????

It shouldn't be an issue. However, if your concerned I would contact the DMV and see if they could ammend your title. And welcome to the paid off car club. More money for mods. I know I really started dumping money into the car once it was paid off.
