I finally took the plunge and bought a RX8. I have been following the 8 even before they were released and I remember watching with anticipation the first video of RX8's coming off of the boat in WA. After having both of my sons born, I am finally in a position I can get one of the car of my dreams.

The funny thing is I debated about color choice for years and actually had made a decision when life took a funny twist on me. I was on my way to order a 07 VR GT with my wife when we walked past a 06 Shinka and she says"what's that, you never showed me one of those". I was worried the leather/Alcantera was going to be too fragile for young children but she convinced me it would be OK. So needless to say I am the proud new owner of 06 Shinka. It had 25 miles on it and will have the appearence package put on without the rear spoiler in the new few days. I could not be happier.

I am not new to Mazdas or rotories, this will be my 4th Mazda and 2nd rotory. I had an 83 RX7 GS in college and still have a 96 Miata that I just can't part with. I just traded in the 04 Mazda 6s (nice car but an ATX)

I have already compiled a list of mods I will be working on for a while. I need to spend some time with it to see which ones come first. I do know that around 1-2K RP oil is going in the tranny and diff and most likely a 3m clear bra in the near future.
