After "lurking" around this site for almost a year, I went and purchased a Velocity Red 8 with the Grand Touring Package, MT, and Black /Red leather interior. It was a demo (4K on the odo) driven by the wife of the owner of Valley Mazda-San Luis Obispo. I was assured that the 600 mi break-in proceedure was adhered to, and other than some small garfs on the outer edge of one of the front rims, the vehicle is immaculate!! The dealership was awsome...MSRP was $31,800, I got them down to $27,896 and got $4k trade-in for the Contour (100K mi on the odo). Picked up the extended premium warrantee for $1250...all for $0.0 down!!!

Thanks to this site, this is the most informed/relaxed car purchase I've ever made!!

Anyways, back to reading the owners manual... :D

Hey...

Congrats and welcome to the club of club's!! Has it had the ECU update? Is it up on it's recall's? I am assuming so, if bought at a dealer, however you should check.

PM me if you need to know how to assertain if the ECU is updated or just search the threads.
