i hate to say it, but i'm probably going to see this. i saw the first two, hell i bought the first two on dvd (really cheap). i know it has bad acting, bad plot, lil bow wow, etc, but i've going to lose my $8 trying to be entertained by another f&f movie. at least this one has my car in it, granted it's probably not going to dust that 350Z like we all want it to, but the RX8 isn't exactly a drift car anyway.

crap that's right. well at least it looks like the 350 gets most of the screentime and it's way out of random ricer kid's price range so maybe we'll escape seeing a plethora of RX8s with coffee can exhaust tips and disgustingly large wings. but i fell sorry for 350Z owners when used ones start selling in the high/mid teens.

Would be better if they had atleast some of the actors from either 1 or 2 in it. Hopefully the RX 8 now don't wind up looking like a Hoda wanna be with the kids! Just remeber real cars make power with the rear wheels!

I tried to watch one of these flicks (not sure which one). It was the same setup as "Point Break." Cop infiltrates criminal underground - gains credibility - climax - ethical decison .....
They should make these movies pure comedy and add sponsor stickers with Tampax, Dollar General... and play on all the sterotypes.

the move is gonna suck and I think everyone here knows it, but were all gonna go see it because our baby is in it in a funky color, but who cares.. Also we just appreciate sports cars in general so.... I guess I'll see you crazy F***ers in the theaters during the summer....

P.S. Drifting in the movie is sick..

And the 350Z is? Tell that to Rod Millen.
Anyways im absolutely expecting a moderate RWD surge after this movie. But more along the lines of 240s, MR2s, ect. Not 8's and Z's.

Instead of the suave movie-announcer voice, I want some little Japanese kid to run into the frame and shout TOKYO DREEFT!!!

Anybody know why Paul Walker and Tyrese did not come back for this one? Those two were pretty cool in the part 2.

And the people in the begining talking about the "Asian" guy who actually was killed at the end of the 1st movie when he got shot, don't know WTF they're talking about!

Not all Asians look the same, the actor who played Johnny Tran is name Rick Yune, who also played the villain in Die Another Day. The asian guy in Tokyo Drift is a totally new actor.

Guy321, you're a ******* idiot for even opening your mouth and saying dumb stuff like that... What you said is like me saying all the ******* whiteys look the same.

Well, the main thing I look forward to in this movie are the Japanese cuties in their mini skirts!

They didnt come back b/c they were not offered enough money. Same reason why Vin was not in the second one ( He wanted 20 million to do the picture) Sequels tend to have less of a budget so you have to cut cost.... like actors.

On another note i was reading some people who claim they dirfted before this movie and a very pissed off about this movie. They claim it will ruin drifting like ff and ff2 ruined street racing. Any thoughts on this statement. But this will make all rwd imports skyrocket in price and hopefully will reach our 8's in resale value.

There is even a drifting club - some of them showed up with decorated cars at the Rotar Fest in Frisco - too bad they can't make a real drift movie with real authentic drifters, their stories and their faces - there were some really good looking young Asian kids ther with their cars - very impressive!

My little review *Minor Spoilers*

Okay so the kid goes to japan to learn responsibility, so he does illegal street races, illegal drift races, and works for the Yakuza. Then he tells his dad, "I have to fix my own messes," and his Dad is all proud and thinks " my son's finally all grown up," and lets him go back to do his street racing Yakuza crap. WTF?!?!?!?!?!? Worst parenting ever, and probably one of the most horrid movies I have seen in years.

Tsuchiya Keiichi in the movie !!

Remember the guy who was fishing at harbor area and said " Do you call that drift?"

He is Tsuchiya Keiichi (real Drift King) who made the Drift Bible video from Best Motoring.

I was laugh so hard when I saw him.

As long as this movie doesn't make a bunch of ricers buy rx-8s and then rice them out to all hell... I'll be happy... and I sure as hell won't watch it!
