If all auto glass were 'water repellent' there wouldn't be a need for the excellent product RainX.

That's awesome! Next time I'm at the dealer, I'm trying it.
I don’t think that’s the case anymore. My wife tried to buckle my son in and she thought the seatbelt latches were broken since it wouldn’t click. Come to find out she was using the front ones seatbelts on the door.

I was wondering how someone would accidentally hook the front seat belt in the back seat... Now it makes sense as they are only a foot apart when the door is closed.

I haven't ridden in the back seat in my car.

Where does it say that steering is drive-by-wire? I highly doubt any sports car will ever have steering that is drive-by-wire as feedback through the steering wheel is extremely important. Drive-by-wire steering means that the steering wheel would basically be like the steering wheel of video games. Only electrical signal current passing though wiring would connect the driver inputs at the steering wheel to the steering components of the chassis. I think to date Mercedes is the only company offering a car with drive-by-wire steering.....I could be wrong though.

I think he misunderstood, the power steering is electric.

5. "The RX-8 has an electric power steering system. If your RX-8 engine stalls for whatever reason (i.e. run out of fuel) then the electric power steering continues to operate allowing you to steer safely to the side of the road."

How many of us went out and did the test on the audio system after reading about it on there?

More Facts:

-Every mathematical inequality officially ends with < rx8

-The RX8 can be completely dismantled into fully functioning parts suchs as the center console becoming a second oven and the hand brake pulling out to be a sword.

-Even Chuck Norris believes that RX-8's, rather than children, are the future.

-The RX-8 doesn't take you from point A to point B -- it brings point B to you.

-The Rx-8 can, and has, revved to infinity - twice.

-The cloth seats of an RX-8 are made of the softest material known to man: Baby Bunny *******'s.

-Mazda RX-8: A Swedish ***** pump on wheels.

-The RX-8 rotors don't move, the universe itself rotates around the eccentric shaft. If the Renesis ran counterclockwise, time would run backwards.

-If you play that rotor backwards it says "pistons can bite my left nut".

-All other cars look like the Rx-8...out of respect. The Crossfire failed to comply, which is why you never see them on the streets.

-Everytime an RX-8 has a shift beep, an angel gets its wings.

-Music listens to the Rx-8. One time it didn't, that's how we got Rap

-The Rx-8 tempts Satan.

-The area between an atom's electrons and nucleus is known as the RX-8 turning radius.

-The sound of the renesis engine comming to life is the closest reproduction man has ever made of the first words ever spoken.....

-At 9000 RPM, the rotational velocity of the rotors shears the fabric of space/time and creates a small black hole. This is where the missing HP and gas mileage went.

Dude, you could ask your dealer if all RX-8's have a flock of seagulls under the hood and they'd say yes. They're mostly retarded and the rest greedy, mostly.

Actually the 04 RX-8's do not have carbon fiber dshafts in the MT's. It's only the '05 and later models that do. Kinda bumed when I found that out but it still works!

I had no idea that the thump when you start driving your car was normal. I thought I had some rust on the rotors after a rain/car wash or something. It was beginning to worry me when my car thumped 4 feet after backing out of the garage. Good to know

I didn't know what that was either. I thought it was possibly something in my trunk shifting. At least know I know so I don't keep rearranging my trunk! LOL

I wonder how Mazda makes any money on these cars, considering the incredible amount of technology built in. How many other cars have a carbon-fiber drive shaft? The A/C system on the RX-8 weighs in at about 14 pounds total.

Every other car company's solution is to make bigger HP numbers, but Mazda actually engineers their cars to be better in every way.

Have you checked yours?

I worked on a Yellow 04 and it had a carbon fiber drive shaft.
Very light.

Who told you it didn't have one?!
