Ok so im pretty sure that my passenger side front door speaker is blown, certain midrange frequencies come out with some pretty nasty distortion. Im not really too sure what kind of speakers are used on our cars, arent they Bose? How difficult and expensive is it to replace this speaker? I know from past experience with Bose installed factory stereo's (Nissan 300zx) that the speakers have their own built in amplifiers, which not only make them expensive, but also nearly impossible to replace with after market speakers due to the interface they have with the headunit. Is this true for the Rx8 too..?? How many have replaced speakers before and what route do you take?
