If you can afford it I would definitely get the extended warranty.. I know I did. It's helpful incase you ever need small little parts replaced.. i.e. tailights with the condensation issue.
yeah it would add like 10 more buck to the payment! and from wat i hear parts can get expensive! so i just wanted to hear wat ppl got to say!
and wat about the tailights?! you had them changed already?!

For only $10 more I would definitely get them. Our taillights have a slight issue where water can get inside them at times... theres a few ways to fix this but with the bumper to bumper warranty you'd just get new ones from the dealer.
Extended warranty saved my *** the cost of coils, plugs, and wires twice ($700.00 or so a pop) as well as an ABS unit ($1400) and expensive *** dealer labor. There were some other things I am forgetting but all I paid was my $100.00 deductible.
The engine itself has its own warranty.. 8yr/100k miles. As far as how reliable they are I'd say aslong as you take good care of the car you shouldnt have any issues with it anytime soon. There's alot of useful info on this forum along with maintenance tips so when you have time you should read up on it, its quite useful.
Luckily for me I haven't had much use for mine... but its definitely nice to have. As you can see by what people are posting it will save you money with small and big expensive repairs.
yeah i think imma get it! i see taht it can get expensive!
but from the little readung i've been doin, the rotary is a really good and reliable engine as long as i take care of it and check fluids! right?! i mean idk wats different about maintance! anythin i should know?!

Check the oil every other fill up. Change the oil every 3kmiles or 3months whichever comes 1st. Redlining helps get rid of the carbon build up... Try not to shut off the car immediately if you just turned it on... rather safe than sorry if your car floods. There's a lot more info on here.. take some time to read some of it
I would change the plugs, coils and wires every 30k miles also. Keep the receipts for all your oil changes as they will be needed if you ever need a new engine under warranty.
k cool! but i thought that like coils, spark plugs were just part of regular maintance?! so they are covered?! or depends on the warranty?! cause i know my deductible is of 100! and yeah imma spend a lot more time on here reading! get me familiar with this car!
so far i like it a lot! is really smooth!

^ Anytime. Like I said there's a lot of helpful info on these forum's. Dont hesitate to ask if you have a question... Just try to search for the answer before starting a new thread btw. Some people might not have the nicest reponse to a question thats been made a million times already.
This thread deserves a poll to find out how much money in repairs the extended warranty has saved people: $0-500, $501-1000, $1001-1500, etc. I think that would give us the most objective picture whether it's really worth the money.
