Hello, I'm getting ready to turn in my RX-8 because my lease is ending. When I bought the car I added a Borla Exhaust system on the car. Is this something that I will need to remove before I turn the car in, or will most dealers not mind something like this?

Yes you have to take it off. It's not your car, you "borrowed" it. They expect it to be returned with everything where it's supposed to be.

Besides, why give $$$ away. Take it off and sell it. People buy used aftermarket exhaust all the time.

 

Hmm, well I didn't keep the old one, so any advice where I can get a used OEM one?

 

most people give them away for free on this forum. Post in the looking for parts section.

 

Trade it with someone. I'm pretty sure a ton of people would do it.

haha, ya, post on the FS/FT part with ur local area. someone will want it, hell if ur in houston i'd take it for free and give u my stock one XD
