Yeah Kane, you can join our team. I am taking my first diving course this summer, then open water rescue class in the fall. Already high angle rescue certified as well as ACLS
PALS
PHTLS
AHA CPR instructor
EMT instructor
also an informatics specialist which means I train with the new laptop/tablets we are using to go paperless with our ambulance runreports
I'm sure I'm missing some things.

I WOULD love the tablet based system if we were running Ambupro, but we are using Zoll Data Systems - EPCR. it sucks. it isn't user friendly, it takes way too long to pop out a run report and the vitals feature is such a hassle. Ambupro is the way to go i have used three systems and Ambupro was the easiest to learn, the fastest way to get through a report because it is layed out just like a paper report except it has more features that you CAN use, you don't have to use them. in the Zoll system you have to use the extra features or atleast click through them. plus there is no way to save patient data to the server to be called up again by the user if it is a frequent flyer or if the pt is unresponsive and we have no idea what medications they are on.

oh well, noone cares what the users think even though they had us test out three tablet based systems for 2 years before they implemented them. The Zoll system was the one that nobody voted for. how do I know? I counted the votes.

B is a glorified bystander, I is not a lot better, Paramedics are the only ones whose job is worth the education/training and CEU's

Speaking of medical stuff, talked to DUSTOFF here yesterday, those pilots and flight crews are awesome!
