yeah i got egged again at my house and they deliberately went after my car... left my brothers BMW alone and left my grandmas lexus alone and hit ONLY MY 8!!! but yeah... it chipped my paint once again and now i have lots of white little swirls on my lovely black car and i hate it! you guys know any other way to get rid of these white swirls if anyone else had em? i tried that scratch removal thing which usually works but wont work and these bad boys. Any suggestions? if not imma juss take it to the mazda dealer and tell em to touch it up for me which im afraid will cost lots of money so any help or advice will do :D thanks

If your in the Austin Texas area, you can bring it by my store and I will have my guy buff it out for you (hes the best of the best). If your not though, than you should call around your town and find the best buffer you can, the going rate should be around 150 to get rid of the swirles and discoloration, 300-500 for the whole car. Be careful of the dealers, I have yet to find one that can properly buff a black car.

btw, don't just take it to some jackass with a buffer. Buffing black paint is and art. If you take it to someone who had no idea what they are doing the car will likely come back worse than it left. Take it to an expert and have the car buffed right. Someone who knows what they are doing should be able to buff that car back to perfection, ie: no swirls what-so-ever.

 

Mike, obviously this is someone that knows you personally to hit your car again. Someone from your school I bet. They were probably jealous that your parents bought you the car and is egging your car to make them feel better. Can you think of anyone that knows you, that would dislike you that much?

i share your pain... my black car was also nailed by an egg a few weeks ago by the beach and I now have little white chips where the egg hit my car, along with a couple of nice key marks.

Most of our neighbors fit no more than one car in their garage, even though we all have three car garages!

It seems the vast majority of people these days use garages for storing crap, rather than what they were made for: protecting your cars!

You need a video camera and you need to inform the cops *** soon as it hpappens, this way there is a paper trial

You and I konw that you don't want to shell out your prescous and hard earned money to fix problems that you didn't cause, and ones that may, and in you case, will probably happen again.

If you keep the cops informed, getting money to fix your car will be easy on a scale giving a 1000x better chances.

Seriously this is not a luaghing matter, you wawnt you 8 looking the best it can!!!

Sorry about your car Mikelikes2drive. This is why I keep my car either in the garage, or at least somewhere in close proximity to myself. Don't these bandits have anything better to do?! It really irks me to see someone egg such a nice car as yours, let alone anyone's car. I hope that you can find the culprit(s), and give them some nice face time with Mr. Brick.

i went to whitney.. juss graduated class of 04... and yeah thanks everyone for everything. i think i know who did it, someone little bastard so imma go kick his *** and make him pay for the damage. yah my car is garage kept now... my family has a 3 car garage but we have 5 cars and since i come home late at night they make me keep it outside so i dont open the garage and wake my parents up. :/

Well that sucks. My parents sold my old car after I got this car. I thought we were going to keep it so I can drive it to college without me worrying about it gettin doordings and all that good stuff. I guess now its back to worrying.

 

I think it all depends on your neigborhood... Cerritos is the suburbs with people that are either pretty well off, or pretty poor. Our neighborhood is surrounded by Lakewood, Hawaiian Gardens, and I would even say Artesia is sometimes pretty blah. In High school it's the same way... you drive a nice spanking car your parents buy you, you're going to get hated on by the lower income people. It was like this when a classmate just got the new Mitsu 2000GT VR4, and he was showing it off like he was tought crap... the week after, he got his car keyed. He painted it, and it got keyed again... eventually he would switch from his M3 to his VR4... scratch paint, scratch paint. Oh wells.
