i am so mad right now. i got to my friends house at 1045, left at 12. got to my car, went to open the door -- covered in effin egg. so im pissed i jump in the car drive it up the drive to the light outside the garage and half my car is covered in yolk and egg shells. i drive it to a friends house with a house out front and start tryin to get it off. effin impossible. tried my best. so now i have 5 oval areas of bad chips where the egg hit, lots of little scratches all over, still have yolk on the car in some areas, and to make it even worse, there is not a slight misalignment where the front of the hood meets the bumper, someone must have sat on it pretty hard or something......NOT IN AN EFFIN GOOD MOOD

 

WTH is wrong with people??? It seems like we've had more than our share of 8 eggings (me, 3 times in 3 months). Is there some sort of vendetta against 8's? Are people really THAT jealous? I had to install a surveillance camera to monitor my car.

Sorry that happened to you I know how bad it sucks.

i feel you kmg1186!! me and my friends 350z got EGGED in front of a busy populated restaurant. i mean covered in egg. they used a dozen eggs on us together. i went home at 100 miles an hour from there and stayed up all night cleaning that crap off. thank god for zaino shampoo or else that crap would have left ovals. haters. thats for sure

thanks guys. so now my car smells horribly of raw egg and there are 'yolk swirl marks' all over the place. is there any special way to get this crap off? zaino shampoo works well?

 

ok so i washed it off using some dawn dishwasher detergent. got everything off great. its been confirmed i got hit 6 times, all leaving an oval pattern of chips in the paint. and it seems someone jumped up on my hood and dented it in a few spots there while causing a slight misalignment. i cant wait to find out who did it!

 

check with the bored highschool/middleschool students out on summer vacation.

but in the mean time, get some wax on, right away! washing with dawn strips off the wax. and when you find the culprits, i say you should legally be allowed to egg them, egg their family, egg their families' car(s), make them clean their cars, and then make them pay for the paint repair costs.

with punative damages like that, people would think twice about engaging in such idiotic behavior.

yeah i definitely didn't forget to wax it after making that paint raw with the dawn. everything looks great now except for the 6 oval chip marks. i just got back from filing a police report, so when word gets back around to me who did it, they won't be laughing anymore. loaded, i hope your luck turns around soon!

 

that is awful, I don't know what I would do. It is crazy tho all of these eggings i've heard of happened in the OC/SF area. What is up with people there? That is just one of those things you don't do.

 

well idk about the OC/SF area being i'm in north jersey. but an egging is an egging and its never any fun haha
