ebay rip off. who is this.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=4554724464

seriously who is this. stop trying to rip people off... for those who wanna know in short he paid 38 fully loaded for the 8 added 7g worth of work(turbo) and has 25k miles. and starts auction at 35g.... anyone else think this is ridiculous because i sure as hell know the 8 resale value is crap and thats one of the reasons why i got mine.. 7k miles 23.5g plus the same 7g of mods thats still 30g am i wrong for speaking up and emailing him not to rip people off? we are an rx8 community correct? look out for fellow 8 owners/future rx8 owners? cuz another reason i got my 8 because of all the support this forum has if i read this forum finding out how people try scamming each other that deff would have turned me away from getting my 8...

thoughts?

I think...

Anyone has his or her right to ask what they want for any car. Some people want to make more than others when selling their cars. I think that as long as he doesn't lie on any of the car's details its totally up to the buyer to research the car and see if it is worth the price before buying (or in this case, bidding). Yea you think its a rip off, I think its over priced as well... but why make a big deal? Let him sell his car for what he wants to sell it for in my opinon.

my $.o2

^^Gotta agree with you there.
The auto and 6-cylinder listing is a mistake and a limitation of E-Bay.

I think he has every right to ask any amount he wishes for the car. If it is too high, he just won't get a bid. No harm, no foul.

its his car, he can sell for whatever he wants.... it looks like hes trying to pay his way through med school using his car... thats his choice.

and if someone buys it, thats their choice...

hopefully, if someone buys it, they at least get a grad picture :D

Totally agree....

You are looking at one right now :D

But going to medical school is not a good reason to sell it??

I will go to med school WITH the 8. I was so depressed during the study time - that a fang with a turbo 8 will be a good tension breaker.

..... ^^" BTW I think it is a fair enough price if the tubro is new.

If you look at the pictures, the car is Manual, not Auto. He's gonna have a difficult time selling it.

Lot's of sweat and frustration probably went into that.. Let him ask and let someone else that doesn't want to sweat pay.

I have to agree with most of the previous posts. We live in a free market society. Whatever the market will bear.

if you're stupid enough to pay that much money for that car, you kinda deserve it.

IMO, I don't think it's overpriced, It will probably sell for around $38k. It's worth that if his mods and discription are true. He put alot of work and time into it. It's unique, one of a kind.

It's every sellers job to get the most possible and it's every buyers job to get the lowest. The market sets the price.

As an owner, I hope that everyone is willing to pay good money for the 8. That's what creates resale value.

Not a bad price if it still had the factory drivetrain warrenty. But install turbo, goodbye warrenty.

Hey is this your car? hahah Why does this guy have to be from long island makes us look bad. Does anybody know if he is on the board?

He probably doesnt want to sell the car, if he gets that price he will sell it which most people will do.

Also if he wants to save money he shouldnt bid on crappy g unit hats and fake watches. I guess he will stand out in medical school.

It's worth way more than that!!!!

If you look at it from above, in direct sunlight, there is an image of the Virgin Mary.

If I hadn't spent all my PayPal funds on that grilled cheese sandwich, I'd "Buy It Now" for $40k
