"Drive it like you stole it"
My wife has had her 2010 GT since August, 2010. We both agree, it is by far the most fun we have ever had owning a car!
She has been pulled over twice in the last six months. The last time she was doing 87 in a 70 mph zone........ oops!
She gave the trooper her license, after he returned from his car she said with a straight face.. ...." The mechanic at the dealership told me to drive it like I stole it" The trooper had a good laugh and sent her on her way..no ticket!
Moral of the story........... Be honest, respectful and have a good sense of humor..sometimes it works!

drive it like you stole it means you drive it hard, not drive it fast.
by driving it hard means you use the engine more by accelerating fast doesn't mean you should drive at high speed.
this is actually a very good question I always get people say why buy a fast car when everybody is doing the speed limit. well, its all about acceleration.

Drive it like you stole it means hard and fast, includes wives, girlfriends, rx8s, college girls, girls you meet at bars, and well many other things in life.
On a second note is your wife hot? Did she cater to the needs of the troopers eyes when he walked up? A good wife would take one for the team and show dem boobies.

I've also found that if you throw in references to how hard it is to NOT speed when you're working a stick shift with that much power under it, the trooper can't focus on writing you a ticket because he's distracted by all your sexual references...and he sends you on your way

This didn't work when I got caught going 100 in a 50... Actually spent the night in jail and the car spent the night in impound... Gonna be expensive to fight. WIDE OPEN HIGHWAY means go really fast right?

I was going 87 in a 65... and yes, wide open highway means go really, really fast! I drive on brand new, spacious 8-lane toll roads to and from work every day and it kills me to stay under 80mph when I'm just hanging out in 6th gear...If I don't set cruise control I have to pay serious attention to my speedometer

Hoping to get it busted down or off on technicalities, lawyered up. As for the speeding it was 11:45 at night and the road was wide open. Crested a little hill and bam there he was. A moment. Live and learn.

Cops are ******* weird.. I was given a warning by a statie for speeding on the highway doing 80 in a 65... I just said, bad day at work and I really need to get home and chill out.
On a separate occasion, I was given a ticket for not stopping at a stop sign, cop pulled me over in front of my damn house.
I was like, that's my house right there.. He seemed amused at the irony and gave me a ticket.
