Hmm. How long will it take one of the big auto manufacturers to buy the patent to that and stick it in a drawer like they do will most new technology?

I love how they offhandedly mention they removed the B pillar.

Who needs structural integrity anyways, right?

It was posted a few motnhs ago, but it's still pretty interesting. I use the door as some leverage to get in and out though...I think I'd rather have a normal door. I'd take this over lambo doors though!

although you can park in some pretty tight spaces... but so could you if you had a station wagon with one of those wind down rear hatch windows :p

Well, just at first glance, I think our cars would be too low to begin with.

I think that's pretty kickass.. This coming from an avid lambo door hater!

The thing about this is that it's unique, nobody has it.. Not even those crazy cars at televised car shows have this..

Though I definitely wouldn't waste the money on it, I wouldn't be embarrassed to have it like I would with gull-wing or lambo doors..

I think it would look trick on a show truck or Escalade. Any really nice car (because it would be lowered or at least have side skirts) would probably sit too low for it to work correctly.

another OT post: they wont shut J. Williams and the much different backfield style handoff/run option that Ill has going for them. There is a reason why OSU couldnt stop it, and USC will struggle to do the same (however, I will agree with a USC win, but much closer than you are predicting (28-24 USC).

back on topic.. those doors are crazy. however, wouldnt install those in my 8.
